Paddle Boating Potomac River
The whole boat works together in tandem to turn the paddlewheel as our expert captain navigates the boat down the potomac river. and don’t worry – the cycleboat has a motor to help out or even take over as needed!. The first local paddle pub will launch on september 24. the boat will pick up people at the georgetown waterfront then take them down the potomac river over to columbia island marina, where groups will stop for restrooms and snacks before heading back. the whole trip lasts about an hour and a half.. The potomac paddle pub is dc’s first and only 15-passenger pedal boat. the boat is propelled by a 6-foot paddle wheel that is powered by our passengers pedaling in tandem (don’t worry – we also have a motor to help out as needed)..
